Edouard Glissant Art Fund benefits from the generous support of a Batoutos (Patrons) Circle, whose members are involved in organising the activities offered to Edouard Glissant Art Fund’s Patrons. While the public partners are vital to the success of the Edouard Glissant House and its activities, we also depend deeply on our wider circle of supporters – the Batoutos.
Support the Édouard Glissant artist residency (within the Édouard Glissant House, Le Diamant, Martinique, Caribbean), open to world’s visual artists, art curators & critics, writers, poets, musicians ;
Promote access to – and dissemination of – the Édouard Glissant art collection ;
Encourage dialogue between new artists generations and Édouard Glissant writings, through support for international exhibitions, publications, conferences, exchanges; Encourage transdisciplinary research in this field, open to worldwide students, researchers, doctoral students, art actors, curators and, depending on opportunities, to the public.
Membership is annual and covers the calendar year (from January to December of the joining year). If you are a French taxpayer, 66% of the donation is deductible from the French Income Tax up to a limit of 20% of taxable income.
